What is the internet of things? In the early 2000s, the first projects would allow Internet connection to objects other than computers. Currently, the number of devices that can connect to the network has allowed the promotion of what is known in Mexico as the “internet of things” (IoT). Its purpose is to connect the greatest number of everyday objects that, together, stimulate the creation of services in various areas, transforming our social reality.

It is estimated that during 2017 in our country there were an average of 8.4 billion connected objects; That is, 31 percent more than in 2016, which means that the consumption patterns of Mexicans are changing rapidly due to the inertia of creation, production and promotion of new technologies, leading us to the integration of the current new digital ecosystem.
